Privacy Policy
This policy describes how MintTap handles information in connection with its account-based tracking applications, related support flows, and account services.
Information We Collect
- Account information, including email address and authentication identifiers.
- User-created records, such as user-defined portfolio groups, transaction records, tax settings, notification preferences, and related account preferences.
- Device and notification-related data, including push tokens and notification settings.
- Support request content and related metadata when you contact support through the app.
- Mobile app advertising identifiers and ad interaction signals processed by Google AdMob for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention, subject to applicable law and platform controls.
- Website advertising and interaction signals processed by Google AdSense for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention, subject to applicable law and platform controls.
How We Use Information
- To provide portfolio organization, transaction record-keeping, account functionality, and related product services.
- To store and sync user data across signed-in sessions.
- To deliver optional notifications selected by the user.
- To review and respond to support requests.
- To support advertising and service monetization where applicable.
- To apply consent-related advertising choices where required by applicable law and platform rules.
Advertising Personalization and Consent
Depending on your region, applicable law, and your choices, ads may be shown as personalized or non-personalized.
- Personalized ads may use identifiers and activity signals to improve ad relevance.
- Non-personalized ads may use contextual information and limited technical data to serve and measure ads.
- Google AdMob and related Google advertising services process ad requests under their own policies and controls.
- On iOS, App Tracking Transparency (ATT) choices are respected. If tracking permission is not granted, tracking for advertising purposes is not performed.
- Where a regional consent message applies, ad requests follow that consent status. If consent is not granted, ad requests that require consent are not made.
- When available, you can revisit ad privacy choices from Settings > Ad Privacy Settings in the app.
Third-Party Services
MintTap uses third-party services including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Sign-In, Google AdMob (mobile apps), Google AdSense (website), and Resend for support email delivery. These providers may process information as needed for authentication, cloud storage, notifications, support delivery, and advertising delivery.
Data Sharing and Security
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by the third-party providers listed above only as needed to operate core account features, notifications, support workflows, and advertising.
We use platform and service-provider safeguards designed to protect personal information in transit and in stored account systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable measures appropriate to the services we operate.
Data Retention
We retain account data while an account remains active. If you request account deletion through an applicable MintTap product, the deletion flow is designed to remove the associated authentication record, user profile data, stored portfolio groups, transaction records, notification data, and related support records connected to that account.
Your Choices
- You can update notification preferences inside the Settings screen.
- You can open this policy at Settings > Privacy Policy inside the app.
- You can review terms at Settings > Terms of Service inside the app.
- You can manage ad privacy options at Settings > Ad Privacy Settings when that entry point is available.
- You can sign out at any time.
- You can request permanent account deletion from the Settings screen.
- You can request help with privacy or consent-related requests by contacting support@minttap.app.

- Access your account settings and policy links in the app at Settings.
- Request account deletion in the app at Settings > Delete Account.
- Review deletion details at /account-deletion.
- Send privacy requests (including data access, correction, deletion, or consent questions) to support@minttap.app.
